FRIENDSWOOD, Texas – Police were on the hunt for a suspect in a bank robbery at a Friendswood Kroger Monday morning.
It happened at the IBC Bank inside the Kroger in the 3100 block of FM 528 around 9:25 a.m.
Police said the suspect walked into the bank wearing a blue and red Texans baseball cap, a grey T-shirt, jeans and black-framed glasses. He had a scruffy beard and stood between 5 feet, 3 inches and 5 feet, 7 inches tall.
The suspect approached the teller and demanded money.
The teller said the suspect claimed to have a gun, but he never displayed a weapon.
Images of the suspect were captured by surveillance cameras.
